Annual Day "Tech Jashn-2K18", was conducted for two days on 10th and 11th May 2017-18. The events for the day were as follows:

Details of the event conducted on 10/05/2018

I. Graduation Day

Chief Guest	Prof. H.M Maheshwaraiah Vice-Chancellor, Central University, Kalburgi
Presided By	Shri S.A.Punekar President, Secab Associations, Vijaypur.
Brief Description of the event	1) The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and delivered a talk for about half an hour and highlighted importance of engineering to the society. At the same time he briefed the facilities and contribution of the central university to the development of student community. 2) The oath was read by Prof. H.M Maheshwaraiah and same was followed by the graduating students. 3) The graduation certificates to the students who has completed their 4 year course of Engineering, was handed over by the chief guest, principal, Vice principal and respective HOD's.

II. Cultural Programs By Students

The students had exhibited their talent by performing various events like mono-acting, skits, singing, dancing etc.

I. Project exhibition

The final year students exhibited their projects. And the top three innovative projects in each department were identified by judges. The students were felicitated with certificates.

II. Parents meet

Along with project Exhibition parents meet was also held in each department with an intention that parents can visit department of their child and also visit the project exhibition. The projects were evaluated by the various members from reputed colleges/industries.

III. College day

Chief Guest	Mr Sanjeev Kubakaddi Member, Executive Council VTU, Belgavi
Guest of Honour	Dr Venkateshwaralu Scientist, NAL Bengaluru
Presided By	Shri S.A.Punekar President, Secab Associations, Vijaypur.
Brief Description of the event	1. Chief Guest Mr Sanjeev Kubakaddi addressed the gathering and explained the benefits of becoming an employer rather than an employee to strengthen the economy of the country. He also suggested some of the startup so that engineering students can take and become successful entrepreneurs. 2. Dr Venkateshwaralu addressed gathering and highlighted the importance of research in engineering science. He continued saying "research is not always something which is meant to invent altogether new things, Researching already existing things(finding the dark needle in dark room)" 3. Academic report was read out by Principal. 4. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the academic toppers of the different departments and to the students who shown their excellence in sports and other cultural activities. 5. Anchor distinguished awards were distributed in the following category: Department- Department of Civil Engineering Teaching Faculty- Mr Altaf Hussain B, Department of Mechanical Engineering Student- Mohammad Saifullah Hesham, Department of Mechanical Engineering Alumni- Mr Ziyaullah, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
